Our Organization
ROOTS is directed by a board of people passionate about the development of basketball and the development of the character of kids on Bainbridge Island. Scott Orness is the Primary Advisor to the organization.
Roots Teams
The Roots basketball program is a progressive 4-8th grade boys basketball program designed by the Bainbridge High School coaching staff. We welcome players from both on and off the island and of all skill levels.
For my son Jimmy, attending Camp each summer was an honored tradition. We scheduled our vacations around the camp so as not to miss a single one! He loved the blend of skill drills, scrimmages and competitive games. He really looked up to the coaches and assistants who encouraged him to hustle, practice and have fun." ~ Christy Smith
